Nature, predictor, and outcomes of motivation trajectories during a professional training program

The present study examines the shape, determinants, and outcomes of autonomous controlled motivation trajectories over course aprofessional training program. Asample 43 employees completed measures on four occasions a14-week professional This also relies aburst design, whereby each measure twice (with ahalf-day interval) at measurement occasion to achieve amore accurate representation occasion-specific ratings. Results from three-level growth analyses two bursts Level 1, 2, participants Level3) showed that motivation, negative affect, learning, satisfaction appeared follow curvilinear trajectories, whereas autonomy support positive affect followed linear trajectories.
